Situated in an 18th century presbytery in Cuq Toulza, a picturesque hamlet midway between Toulouse, Albi and Carcassonne, the charming “home hotel” Cuq-en-Terrasses awaits you in the heart of the Cocagne country.

Medieval villages with their traditional markets, chateaux dating from the blue-pastel era, dove-cotes ... on the tracks of the Montagne Noire and in the surrounding valleys of the pastel region, a little breeze from Tuscany gently wafts over the cypress-dotted hills.


Cuq-en-Terrasses is a « Home Hotel » dating from the 18th century which has been lovingly restored and overlooks landscaped gardens of 12.000m². A 3*** hotel: - 6 double bedrooms and a suite, - gourmet restaurant, - panoramic terrace, - heated swimming-pool, - massage facilities (bedroom or outdoors), - shady, wooded gardens, - seminar room.

Here 2010 has started well. We have been selected by Alastair Sawday for his new guide "Go Slow France" where a handfull of hotels have been selected for their respect for the environment, food quality and personal welcome. We are really proud of it and once again it is the proof that being true to your deeper aspirations is the key to a successful personal/professional life. We are currently 4th "favourite hotel" in France (amongst 15 000 hotels!!!) in Trip Advisor.

This winter we have renovated the bathrooms of the Terrace and Terra Cotta room and built a new fireplace in the Lauragais room. Armelle keeps planting the slopes and the terraces and we have brought back from Greece, three new varieties of figs trees for more yammy jams!! Of course we are still testing new recipes and the light lemon pie with almonds should rejoice the gourmet this year!!!
